"THE SHOW DOWN."

GEORGE BANCROFT IN DRAMATIC FILM. GRAKD TSEATBE, TO-PAT. This week's programme at the Grand Theatre will comprise a drama, a comedy, miscellaneous pictures, and the eleventh chapter of "The Pirate of Panama." "The Show Down," the principal picture, and a Btrong drama, featuring George Bancroft, is film entertainment strikingly different from the ordinary. The picture is practically pure drama, very little comedy or romance interfering with the absorbing story played out in the Florida oil camps. Evelyn Brent, Neil Hamilton, and Leslie Fenton have the supporting roles. The second featured picture, "Toni," is an original for the screen, and J?ck Buchanan, the popular British musical comedy star, has the title role, that of the irrepressible Toni, who, seeking a life of excitement and adventure in lieu of his own languid existence, changes places with a great detective, and launches himself out on to a sea of trouble. The box plans are at The Bristol Piano Company, where seats may he reserved.
