The recent deep depression has moved rapidly eastward, but a small secondary is now crossing the South Ivland. An anticyclone is advancing over the Tasrriaii Sea. Present indications are for south-westerly winds, moderate to strong and squally at times but decreasing: seau rather rough to rough generally in New Zealand waters; moderate to strong 6outh-west winds with rough sens in the Eastern Tasman Sea, but wind and sea decreasing; the weather cool and changeable, with passing showers in most districts, but improving and soon becoming fair to fine generally.
