DEFENCE CAMPS.
♦ NEW YEAR'S ACTIVITIES. Commencing on January 16th, a •our* for night-parading officers, n.c.o.'s, and cadets will be held at Bumham. and will last until January 23rd. Officers and n.c.o.'s of the 6econdary ■chools will undergo a course also at Burnham, from January 24th to January 31st, in conjunction with a course ef instruction for candidates making their first applications for commissions. The Air Force course of instruction *ill commence on Friday at Sockburn, snd will last for about two months. The course will be divided into four Sections, each occupying ten days.
