MODEL YACHTING.
The Chxistcaurch Model Yacht Club sailed off' the fourteenth club race of the season on Saturday at Victoria Lake. The wind was strong from the north-east, and seven boats competed under the supervision of Mr O. B. Ekensteen. Results:— First Heat—F, Semmen's Tui (hep. 6min 30 sec) 1, A. Semmen's Dolphin (srr) 2, H. J. Booker's Ruth (2min SOsec) 3, J. L. Huston's Hnia (3min 20sec) 4, S. TV. Smith's Charlie Csosec) 5. Time. Somin. Second Heat—Tui 1, Ruth 2, Huia 3, Dolphin 4. Time, 33min. The race finally resulted—Tui (16 points) 1, Ruth. (.5 points) 2, Dolphin (7 points) 3.
