CANTERBURY BOWLING CLUB. The Canterbury Bowlinp Ciub held a progressive doubles competition on Saturday afternoon for trophic* presented by the president and vice-preeidem, Mecara L. J. Lewis and W, O. Ives. Thirty-two player* took part in four pames of nine head*. Messrs W. Dee (Nelson) and E. C BartlMt won four games each, and in the plav.off Barlctt won. The leads' prire was won ' v A. Wilson, with four wins.
