"PARTNERS IN CRIME."
WALLACE BEERY AND RAYMOND HATTON. GRAND THEATRE, MONDAT. A comedy and a western film are the two main attractions at the Grand Theatre nest week. The comedy is "Partners in Crime," in which Wallace Beery and Raymond Hatton co-star, a delightfully clever burlesque on the American underworld and the police methods of coping with crime. Though the story is a pure comedy, and very thrilling withal, Wallace Beery and Raymond Hatton are the whole show. These two comedians first attracted attention in "Behind the Front," following that with "We're In the Navy Now" and "Now We're in the Air." They keep their audience in a simmer of merriment, for they are genuinely funny, and have a technique all their own. Mary Brian is leading lady. The second picture is Zane Grey's story, "Under the Tonto Rim," with Mary Brian and Richard Arlen in the leads. It is a story of gold-mining days in the West, told in Orey's exciting style. with plenty of humour and romance. The tenth chapter of "The Pirate of Panama" will b« screened, and a programme of supports, including gaieties, short comedies, and cartoons. The box plans are at The Bristol Piano Company, where seats may be reserved.
