» —_ KING'S MESSAGE TO THE POPE. (CHTTED I'KESS ASSOCIATION—BT ELECTRIC TELE GBAPH —COPESIGHT.) (Received December 27th, 8 p.m.) ROME, December 26. On the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the Pope's entry into the priesthood, King George, in a message to his Holiness, says: "I cannot allow the happy occasion to pass without offering my sincerest congratulations and best wishes for your welfare and happiness. I ask your Holiness to accept the felicitations and the assurance of sincere friendship and heartfelt respect and esteem which I feel for the person and character of your Holiness."
