FIRE AT WHITE HOUSE.
CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS CONTINUE.

WASHINGTON, December 25
President Hoover and his family gathered round a private Christmas tree on the second floor of TV hite House early to-day, declining to permit Christmas celebration to be disturbed by last night's fire. President Hoover will establish temporary headquarters elsewhere while the ravaged wing is being remodelled. Possiblv he will use his private study at White House. In the meanwhile the staff will be quartered at the State Department, across the street.
