CANCER PATIENTS.
RADIUM AND DEEP THERAPY TREATMENT.
Reporting to the North Canterbury Hospital Board yesterday on behalf of the radium and deep therapy department, Dr. P. Clennel Penwiek wrote that owing to the generous offers of Mr F. W. Johnston and the ladies of Toe 11, he was now able to arrange transport to and from the hospital for those patients who lived aVray from the tram services or were physically unable to undergo the fatigue of regularly reporting to his department for examination. He was most grateful for this solution of a problem which was more important than it appeared. Unless he could get es-patients to report regularly he could not issue an honest report on the results of treatment.
