FATAL INJURIES.
(press association telegkam.) HAWEBA, December 17. Dorothy Cross, single, about 20 years of age, died in hospital this afternoon from injuries received in a collision between motorrcycles near Hawera it midnight on Sunday. She did not regain consciousness. Hugh Herbert Hill, with whom she was pillion-riding, was killed outright. The third person involved, Bussell Alexander Hurley, who suffered a fractured leg and head injuries, is making favourable progress.
