The Foxton should arrive to-day from Foxton direct to load for the return* trip. The Wingatui should arrive here on Thursday from IJunedin, Oamaru, and Timaru. She loads for Napier, Gisborne, and Auckland. The Waipiata should arrive at Lyttelton this morning from Auckland, via Napier and Wellington. She is to sail to-night for Dunedin. The Kaponga. 15 due to-morrow from Tarakoho to discharge cargo from Adelaide and Melbourne. She is to sail the same day, taking cargo tor Greymouth. The Katoa should arrive on Saturday from Portland, via Wellington, with cement for discharge. ! The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Co.'s motor* | ship Taranaki sailed yesterday for Wellingj ton to complete loading. She is to sail from ! She proceeds to Timaru, Port Chalmers, and Wellington, and sails from Wellington on January 11th for Loudon, via Panama. The Kent is to load at Lyttelton about January 13th for London, and sails on January 18th, for Wellington to complete. She is to leave Wellington on January 25th for London, via Panama. The Durenda, which left Calcutta on December 11th for Auckland and Wellington, via Sydney, will call at Singapore en route. The Bencruchan. which was to have arrived at Wellington on Sunday from Port Pirie, was diverted to Picton, where sha arrived on Saturday. Messrs G. H. Scales and Co, advise that the vessel will sail today, probably for \Vellington. The Canadian Conqueror, which arrived at Auckland on Friday from Montreal, is commanded by Captain W. G. McConachy, and associated with him are the following officers:—Chief, Mr A, Webster; second. Mr V. Clarke; third, Mr E. Travers; chief engineer, Mr P. Murphy; second. Mr 11. Wi). son; third, Mr D. Junor; wireless operator. Mr G. Huzzy. Captain A. R. Stewart is now in command of the Otokia, relieving Captain £. Harris, who is on holiday leave. Mr A. S. Ewan, who has been on holiday leave, has joined the Kurow as chief engineer. Mr A. Fi. Turner left by the Ulimaroa last week for Sydney, en route for Melbourne, where he will join the Looiigana as purser. The C. and D. Line advise that the Port Hardy was expected to get away from Gisborne late on Friday night for Tokomaru ■Bay and Auckland to fill up. She is now timed to sail finally from Auckland next Saturday for Halifax and London, via Panama Canal. ■'' A message has been received from the Swedish motor-ship Falsterbo, en route from Port Arthur (Texas), stating that she will arrive at Auckland on Tuesday next. She is bringing a cargo of petroleum products and is due at Wellington about Monday, and j at Lyttelton about December 29f.h. ' News has been received by the Federal j Company that the Cumberland left Curacao ; last Wednesday morning for New Zealand j ports, en route from Liverpool.
