PORT HARDY'S RECORD SHIPMENT. LTHX PRESS Special Berries.] AUCKLAND, December 16. Due at Auckland to-night from Tokomaru Bay, the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Hardy will lift here a record shipment of 136,825 boxes of butter. This is the largest consignment of butter ever loaded by one steamer at any New Zealand port. The Port Hardy is announced to sail on Saturday for Halifax and London, via Panama, but only a smull por jii>n of her carfo is for England. She is taking 100 boxes for Kingston, Jamaica, 116,575 boxes for Halifax, and 19,000 boxes for London. A further 1150 boxes are consigned to Halifax with an option for London. On an average price of Is 4d mer the value of the butter which will be loaded into the Port Hardv is £418,880.
