WELCOME RAIN IN OTAGO.
* [THE PRESS Special Service.] DUNEDIN, November 6. After a prolonged dry spell, during which the country districts as well as the town have been in great need of rain, a good soaking downpour commenced at midnight last night and continued at intervals during to-day. Reports show that the rain is fairly general throughout the province, and it will do a vast amount of good.
