In de&ance of an army of police and detective*, who are hunting Du.ssclderf high and k>w, the mysterious murderer, known as "Jack the Ripper," has claimed another victim. A young woman, walking in a lonely lane, was lajiaooed from behind. The man sprang on her, flourishing a dagger, and then produced a hammer and btruck several blows. There in no doubt thai the present outrage, the nineteenth emew the outbreak in April, is the work of the same man. because it occurred in the identical spot and the same methods were employed as in the first murder of the »«ri <;•**. In every case the murderer has been able to escape without leaving a clue.
