Nothing is bo conducive to happiness as the good cheer that good health bringa. Thus we lind the world over that nations are recognising this fact, and in promoting the well-being of their peoples they are concentrating primarily on the great question of t health. In the promotion of health 'amongst human beings diet plays an all important part. It is now fully recognised that badly cooked food, unbalanced meals, and unclean methods of preparation and handling are subjects npon which attention must be concentrated if the desired result is to be attained. Electricity is playing its usual wonderful part in bringing to fruition the work of those concerned with the health of the people. Well-cooked, wellbalanced meals are easy to prepare when electricity is used. The M.E;D. sends this message to Christchurch during the Citv's Health Week. ' _o
