Thursday's Nelson "Mail" has the following: Mr Charles Berkeley, for very many years associated in a managerial eapacity with the theatrical firm of J. C- Williamson, Ltd;, has taken up his residence in Nelson for probably some months. For the past three years Mr Berkeley has been farming at Tan* ranga. Hia career on and off the stage—ranging from chief fnn-maker in a circus to an aetor in Shakespearean plays and then managerial positionshas been an exceptionally varied one of great interest, and he proposes, while here, to continue the writing of his reminiscences, publication of which will be looked forward to keenly by all who know the vast amount of material available.
