Excursion tickets will not be available by the 8.35 a.m. exoress from Christchurch, nor by the 6.5 p.m. exoress from Ashburton on 21st September. TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS. CHRIST. OHURCH-ASHBURTON. Special passenger train taking passengers from Christchurch, Addington, SocJtburn, Templeton, Rolleston, Dun. sflndel, and Rakaia only, leaves Christchurch 10.25 a.m., arriving Racecourse Siding 12.4 p.m. Return train taking passengers for Rakaia. Dunsaodel. Rolleston. Templeton. Sockburn. Addington, and ; Christchurch only leaves Ashburton 4-50 o.m , Racecourse Siding 5.20 p.m., arriving Christchurch 7.6 p.m. Passengers from stations at which the special train will not stop must travel by usual 7 10 a.m. ChristchurchAehburton train (which will stop at Racecourse Sidina to set and return by usual 360 p.m Ashburton Christchurch trnin (Racecourse Sidine 3.55 p.m.). or by speoial mixed train leaving Ashburton 8.15 p.m. Special train stopping where required, excepting at Rakaia, to lift racehorses, leaves Christchurch 8,9 a.m., and arrives Ashburton 10.52 a.m. Horses from Rakaia must be loaded for the usual morning train for Ash- i burton, leaving Rakaia 8.56 a.m. Special retnrn train, stonnine where required to set down passengers and j horses returning from Races, leaves; Ashburton 6 15 p.m. Should the Races be Dostponed. the special trains will NOT run.
