TRUCKS DERAILED.
ACCIDENT TO GOODS TRAIN. (MUMS ASSOCIATION THJHJBAV.) DUNEDIN, September 3. Between 3.30 and 4 o'clock this afternoon a goods train from Clinton met with an accident at Toiro six miles south of Balclutha, resulting in the derailment of about ten trucks. The mishap caused a delay of about an hour to the midnight express from Invercargill to Christchurch, and also to the Dunedin-Invercargill express, passengers having to transfer at the scene of the accident.
It is expected that repairs will be effected before morning. No further particulars were available to-night.
