DOMINION CONVENTION. The Dominion Convention of the Young Women's Christian Associations was continued at Marsden Collegiate School for Girls, Wellington, on Saturday, the business of the morning beginning with the consideration of remits in connexion with girls' work and senior club work, and means of interesting parents in the activities of the Association. Consideration of world fellowship was also part of the morning programme. In the evening the Rev. D. Calder gave an address on his visit to Jerusalem.
On Sunday delegates attended a special church service at St. Mary' 3 Church, Karori.
The Rev. J. R. Blanchard continued his series of addresses on Monday morning. In the afternoon. Mrs Taverner entertained members at her home. Miss Borrie's report on the work of Flock House, Palmerston North, was presented to the Convention. It stated that at present under the girls' Flock House scheme there were 96 girls. Of these 83 were in the country working, four were married, three had finished their apprenticeship and launched out r .n their own, and 13 were still in training. Of those at work four are in the Auck!anl district, one in Taranaki, four in Rangitikei. five in Manawstu. one in the Wellington district. 14 from East Cape down to Gisborne and Wairoa, 23 in Hawke's Bay, eigM in the Wairarapa, two in Nelson, eight in Marlborough, four in Canterbury, and one in Southland.
