It is learned that Odhara's Press, Ltd., proprietors of "John Bull," are purchasing the "Daily Herald," subject to the approval of the Trades Union Congress. The political character of the paper will not be changed.—United Bervice. [Th« "Dail/ Herald" was founded irf 1012 by Mr George Lansbury as a very advanced Socialist paper. It began publishing as a weekly, was converted into a daily, hut for a time during the war had to revert to weekly publication * After the war it carried on publigation in Its present for* M • Labour organ. ]
