CHEVIOT A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.

ANNUAL MEETING. Mr D. H. Milno presided over the annual meeting of the Cheviot A. ayi P. Association. The president, in his report, referred in detail to the work of the Association during the past year, with epecial reference to the show, which had been held on April 4th, 1929, and had proved very successful, fully maintaining the standard of past years. fhanka were expressed to all those who had assisted tho Association with trophies and special donations to the prize fiind. the ladies for their assistance, and the members of the committee for their loj-al support. Tlie balance-sheet showed receipts (including a balance brought forward from last year) .£386 15s Sd and expenditure £331 14s 10d, leaving a cash credit balance of £55 0» lOd. The question of outstanding subs-ripiions wns discussed, and a small committee was set up to interview members whoee subscriptions arc outstanding. A sub-committee consisting of the president and Messrs J T). E. Winski'l and E. Ayrton was set up to inspect the sho*v ground buildinsrs and report to the next meeting of the committee regarding tiie rt-n-virs necessary. Mr J. Pucey was elected a member <f the Association. A vote of thank* was nasfed to the retiring president, Mr D. H Milne, for tne energetic and capable reanner in which he had carried out his duties durinj his term of office.
