NEW YORK, August 5. The Graf Zeppelin made its second westward trans-Atlantic commercial crossing, of approximately 5331 miles, in 3 days 23 hours 23 minutes, against 4 days 15 hours 46 minutes, for the first trip of 6275 miles. The dirigible landed at Lakehurst (New Jersey) with 19 passengers and one unnamed stowaway, a crew of 40. and a cargo of merchandise and mails. Immigration nnd Customs inspectors first boarded the ship, after which the passengers descended nuietly before thousands of cheering spectators. The commander Dr. Hugo Eckener appeared pleased with the easy Jnnding at 9.53 p.m., and talked spiritedly with officials. The Graf Zepnelin will remain at the hangar until August 7th, when she will begin a round-the-world flight from Lakehurst to Friedrichshafen. Tokio, Los Angeles, and Lakehurst, for a 9000 dollar fare. During the nresent visit.
