LORD LOUGHBOROUGH DEAD.
FALL FROM FOURTH STOREY WINDOW. (tJXITBD fBMS ASSOCIA.TIOW—BY BLBCTHIC TSLBOKAPH -COPYRIGHT.) LONDON, August 4. The death has occurred of Lord Loughborough, aged 37. It is revealed that he fell nearly 60 feet, from a fourth-storey window of his home !■ the West End. He was found lying unconscious in the garden, with a fractured foot and an injured spine. He wa» hurried to hospital, where an operation was performed, but he died five hours later. It is a mystery how he came to fall. He had previously complained of feeling unwell.—-Australian Press Association, United Service.
[Lord Lough borough was tEe oldest son of the fifth Earl of Rosslyn. He was attached to the R.N.V R. Armoured Car Division and held a commission in the Coldstream Guards. EDe was also a Captain in the King's Royal Rifles. He married in 1915 Miss Sheila Chisholm, of Australia, who obtained a divorce in 1920, there being two sons of the marriage. He married again recently.]
