NEW OPERA HOUSE.
GEORGE WALLACE'S REVUE. COMMENCES MONDAY NIGHT. Next Monday evening at the new Opera House, will see the return to Christchurch of the popular George Wallace and hie Revue Company, in a sparkling new programme of vaudeville and revue, which for bright musical numbers, clever acting, effective humour, and delightful ballets, will, it is declared, challenge comparison with their previous programmes The first portion of the programme will be devoted to varied vaudeville items, all of which will show the versatility of this brilliant company. Some of the most popular items to be presented are. "George Wallace and his Flaming Youths," the latest in jazz bands, the two Dudleys will present snappy patter and harmony. A rollicking comedy-sketch entitled "Uncle's Visit," an original fun frolic written by George Wallace. The second half of the programme will be taken up by George Wallace's musical comedy revue. "Off Honolulu." It is a clever and original revue of the brightest kind, full of surprises and comical situations throughout its merry length. From beginning to end, the whole show will be a cyclone of fun. The box plans are now open at The Bristol.
