"7 FOOTPRINTS TO SATAN."
«A WEEK-END COMEDY." EVERYBODY'S, MONDAY. Of the two pictures to be presented at Everybody's Theatre next week, "7 Footprints to Satan" is a chamber of horrors in moving form. "A Week-End Comedy" is a light comedy. Jameson Thomas, a young English actor, is seen as a clever divorce lawyer in "A Week-end Comedy." Associated with him are George Gee, Monty Banks, Estelle Brody, and Annette Benson. A revue dancer, played by Miss Brody, becomes annoyed with her dull husband (George Gee), and goes to a lawyer for a divorce. He is greatly intrigued, and Fate plays into his hands. Complications set in, and a delicious little comedy is a result. "7 Footprints to Satin" has Thelraa Todd and Creighton Hale in the leads. All interest centres on a character, • mysterious somebody known as "The Spider," who holds a mys tic court with strange and fearful rites. The harassed young lovers, inveigled into Satan s house, are the victims of some sudden and spectacular and terrifying happenings. William V. Mong is "The Spider," alias Satan; Sojin and Sheldon Lewis have other unusual roles. Mr Albert Bidgood has arranged the following musical programme:—Overture, "Second Rhapsody" (Lisst), "Sixth Synv phony" (Tschaikowsky), Suites, "Thais and Talmaee" (Campbell), "The Bake" (Quilter), "Hiawatha" (Coleridge Taylor) : selections, "Peggy Ann" (Rogers), "This Year of Grace" (Noel Coward). "Eugene Onegm (Tschaikowsky), "Witches' Dance" (McDowell), "Bruyers" (Debussy), Cobweb Castle" (Lehmann), "Snake Charmer' (Shelley), "Le Chantdes-Berges" (Boisdeffe); entr'acte, "The Answer" (Wolstenholme).
