CAR AND CART COLLIDE.
Severe injuries were sustained by Mrs R. H. Rushton, of St. Albans, when on Wednesday evening a car driven by her husband collided with a cart in Kilmore street. Mr Rushton's car continued on across the footpath and its radiator was crushed against a tree. The windscreen of the car was broken and the falling glass cut the driver's face. Mrs Rushton was thrown forward, and she received injuries to her head and chest.
