THE KING.
WELCOMES DUKE OF GLOUCESTER. USUAL DUTIES CONTINUED. {beitesh cmcui wimlsss.) RUGBY, July 9. The King, who passed a comfortable night, has not dropped any of his usual activities. It was officially stated to-day that there was nothing to report regarding his condition. Sir Stanley Hewett and Dr. 11. L. Martyn visited the King this morning, but remained onlv a few minutes with his Majesty. The doctors this afternoon examined the X-ray photographs which were taken vesterday. The King's third son, the Duke of Gloucester arrived at Home via Canada from his visit to Japan this afternoon, and was greeted by his Majesty in the Palace grounds, where the King spent a great part of the afternoon.
