MOTOR COLLISION.
Abont 5.30 last night three cats hecame involved in a collision en the North road, at the corner of Preston's road. The drivers of the cars were Mr Z. Beri, of Bealey avenue, in a Whippet, Mr C. Bott, of Norman's read, in a Ford and Mr Holland, driving a has in the Amberlev-Chratchurcb service. The Ford and the bus were going from town and the Whippet was going towards the Citv. According to evewitnesses the Ford was endeavouring to turn into Preston's road with the bus coming up behind it and, it was stated, the two came together in the middle of the road and the Ford was pushed into the Whippet, the latter sufferinc a broken mudguard, a bent headlight, and a bent axle. A bag of eggs was reduced to puip and some boxes were broken with the force <".f the impact. On the Ford one runningboard was ripped almost clean away and the whole front was store-"n, the front axle beinc badlv bent. The hn< was not damaged. The drivers were I not hurt, except that Mr Beri received | a painful bump on one knee.
