School Committee. At the monthly meeting of the Hc-aih.-uic Valley School Committee there were present: Messrs Radcliffe f chairman), Leathwick, Gable, Morgan, E. Dickey, and Mesdames Morgan and Harvey (secretary). On tbe application of the Methodist Young Ladies' Bible Class, it was decided to grant them tho use of the basketball ground on Saturdav afternoons provided the schoolgirls' team did not require it. The date of the children's fancy dresg party was fixed for August 24th. The series of socials run by the committee every winter arc to be recommenced on Saturday, July 20th. The headmaster's report stated that the average daily attendance for the month was 105. The Gardens. Growers are bue,ly engaged in pricking out their tomato plant*.
