SOCIAL AND PERSONAL. Mr and Mrs J. C. Guinness ("F»rmleigh," Ealing), w ho have been on » visit to Christehurch, have returned home. Mr and Mrs Wells, who have been guests at the Dominion Hotel, left for the north yesterday. Miss M. Hay (Wai-iti road), who has been visiting Christchuich, returned home yesterdav. Miss L. Cartwright" (Orbel! street) has returned home from a visit to Christehurch. Miss E. Westmacott (Nile street) has returned to her home after visiting South Canterbury. Potts (Lawrence), Jordon (Christchurch), and Hannah (Christehurch.) M. Julius (Christehurch), Harrison-Cook (Wellington), and T. Fisher (Wellington).
