SIR JAMES PARR.

MR LYSNAR APPROVES OF HIS WORK. [THE PBESS Special Service.] AUCKLAND, July 7. The statement that the Government would be well advised to leave Sir James Parr in London as High Commissioner was made to-day by Mr W. D. Lysnar, M.P., who returned from England by the lonic. Mr Lysnar said Sir James Parr was just getting into his stride. "The High Commissioner's Offiee is doing splendid work," he said. "Sir James is doing a great amount of propaganda through the Press of England, and this is always a difficult thing to do. He is keeping New Zealand well to the fore, and there are always New Zealand exhibits or publicity at the various exhibitions." Mr Lysnar says that London is just getting to know Sir James properly and that if he is left as High Commissioner he will do an immense amount of good work for the Dominion. The displays in the window of the office in the Strand were very fine, and always attracted a large number of people.
