The monthly meeting of the Eakaia branch of the P.W.M.U. was held in St. Andrew's schoolroom on Thursday afternoon, Mrs Morrison presiding over a good attendance. The secretary of the Ashburton P.A. advised that addresses would be given at the July meeting by Miss Hardie, a missionary on furlough from India, and Miss Jennie Street, of London. Collectors for the annual collection for Home and Foreign Missions were appointed. I* was decided to hold the annual meeting on August Ist.
