UNLIMITED CHARITIES.
A meeting of the executive was held last evening, Mr R. J. Hobbs in the chair. The chairman reported that members were enrolling rapidly for the chorus and ballet in connexion with "Sinbad the Sailor," and were disolaying the keenest enthusiasm. It was decided to allocate the proceeds from the pantomime to the Orphanages of Christchurch, as it waa considered that they were all in need of funds, and were the most worthy cause to which the profits could be devoted. In view of Mr Leslie J. Thomas s engagement by the Allan Wilkie Company, the matter of getting the scenery painted_ was left in the hands of Messrs Ternazom and Whatman. Numerous sub-committees were set up to get the pantomime into immediate production Mr R. J. Hobbs being appointed musical director, Mr Allan W, Brown stage manager, and Mr Arthur Lilly leader of the orchestra.
