PUBUC NOTICES. NEW ZEALAND MEAT PRODUCERS' BOARD. ELECTION OF PRODUCERS' REPRESENTATIVES. I IS Hereby notified that under the pro- .. visions of the Regulations, an election will be held for the purpose of electing tnreo Producers' Representatives on the New Zealand Meat Producers' Board, in accordance with the following procedure;— ! An Electoral Committee of twenty-five Delegates shall meet in Wellington on the j 29th ACOUST, 1929, to consider the Board's Annual Report and Balance-Sheet, and to ' elect the three Producers' Representatives on the Board. For the purpose of the oieclior. of the said twenty-five Delegates the iioard has divided New Zealand into ten Electoral Districts, and three Delegates are to be elected for the North and Mid-Canterbury Electoral District ibeing that portion of Canterbury bounded on the North by the Co.unties of Amuri and Cheviot, and on the South by Asaburton County). NOMINATION OF DELEGATES TO THE ELECTORAL. COMMITTEE. No candidate for election to the Board shall bo eligible for nomination as a Delegate to the Electoral Committee. No person shall be eligible for election as a Delegale unless he has been nominated by a. sheeptariner owning not leas than one mini dred sheep, and his nomination has been seconded by another Buch sheepfarmer, and he Las accepted nomination in writing. No person may accept nomination a3 a Delefaie for more than one Electoral Distriot. he form of nomination is obtainable upon application to the undersigned, by whom nominations will be received at the Board's office up to XOON ON THE 25TH JUNE, 1929. The list of persons entitled to vote for | Delegates to the Electoral Committee (in j such Electoral Districts where an election may be necessary) has been prepared by the Board, and is based on the Official Return of Sheepowners as at the 30tfa APRIL, 1928, after deleting persons, companies, or other corporations owning leßs than one hundred sheep. Ballot papers will be posted to electors in due course. NOMINATION OF PRODUCERS' REPRESENTATIVES ON THE BOARD. No person shall bo eligible for election as ft Producers' Representative unless he has been nominated by a sheepfarmer as aforesaid and his nomination has been seconded by another such sheepfarmer and he has accepted noinination in writing. "VTOTIOE is hereby given that, in pursuance JJI of the above Act and the Regulations made thereunder, every person and company, whether a taxpayer or not, having derived income within the meaning of the said Act during the year ending 31st March, 1929, from any source or by any means which is made the subject of taxation under the ■aid Act, is hereby required to make and furnish to me, in the prescribed form, returns of such income on or before the Ist day of June, 1929. ..*«.» Returns of Income are required to Be lurnW&Q* by all companies and persons in business, whether for the whole or part or the income year.
