NEW APPOINTMENTS.
The list of new appointments for Salvation Army officers was announced yesterday morning by Brigadier F. W. Burton as follows: —
Captain P. James, Kaiapoi. transferred to headquarters, Wellington; Ensign V. Ferguson, Dunedin, will take charge of Kaiapoi; Captain W. Knight, late assistant to Ensign A. Montgomery, will take charge of Upper Hutt, Wellington; Ensign and Mrs Bourne, Hokitika, will control the work at Leeston; Captain M Carey, Leeston, will take charge at Brunnerton Captain D. Houghfon and Lieutenant G. Baker will go to Hokitika. These officers will taloe their new positions on Thursday, May 16th.
