Before a good audience in the W.E.A- rooms on Saturday night, Mr \V. A. Kennedy gave an illustrated popular lecture on the direct route from Wakitipu to Milford Sound, via the Groves-Talbot track. The lecture which was followed with close in' terest, was illustrated with three hun* dred lantern s(ide 3 , many of which w«re coloured A hearty vote of thanks was accorded the lecturer at the close of his remarks. lwse
