Hastings, aged about 01, an habitual ■ criminal, escaped from the Wanganui Hospital'at 2.30 this morning but was recaptured in th© lupins at°Cast!ecliff later in the day. Hastings made a similar escape from Vfanganui Gael eighteen mouths ago and was put on bread and water for ten days.
