ESSAT COMPETITION, 1828. (FROM OTJR OWS CORRESPONDENT.) LONDON, February 19. For the 1928 Competition, which Closed on November 30th, 502 essays were received; for Class A (over 16 years of a(e), 77; for Class B (14-16), 116; and lor Class C (under 14), 309 essays. The adjtdicator of the essays was Mr F. S. Serubv, 0.8. E., M.A., H.M.I. Class B. de Lambert, 85 Biccarton road Cbristehurch. Class C.—Sekvyn A. Grave, Waitaki Boys' Junior Sigh School, Oamaru.
