LOST MEMORY AFTER A FIGHT.

SYDNEY, March 12.

Leslie Williams, aged 23, an electrician, ■whom the police believed to be murdered, but who retnraed to Ms parents' home recently, told the police the following story:—''l can remember being in company with Viscoe, who was arrested in connexion with the case, but I cannot remember how I got to Melbourne. I remember giving Viseoe a lift in the car, and there was a fight, but .after that my memory is a blank."—Australian Press Association.

Joseph Visroe, a New Zealander, was arrested nn a-charge of vagrancy, and stated that Williams gave him a lift.
