STRAND THEATRE.
"The Triumph of tha Rat" ia the main attraction at tha Strand Theatre this week.
Pierre Boucheron, once known as the Rat, ' is now the idol of Parisian society. Pierre meets the Comtesss Madeleine de I'Orme and immediately falls fn love with her. Zelie taunts him, so he wagers that within a month Madeleine will be in his arms. The Kat wins the wager. She sees Madeleine and tells her the story of the wager. Madeleine ia horrified, and will not listen to Pierre's explanation.
