Exports of British-made motor vehicles, chassis, parts and accessories during the first seven months of 1928 were, valued at a total of £4,929,502 (including commercial cars and tractors), a decrease as compared with the .first seven months of last year of £ 1,298,135, when the total was £6,227,637, and a falling- off of £477,303 as against the year before, when the total was £.5,406,805. Touring cars and cabs exported numbered, in 1926, 8649, valued at £1.868,044; 1927, 8919 (£1,922,362); 1928, 9812 (£1,963,761). Chassis below 28cwt, in 1926, 6726 (£930,014); 1927, 11,500 (£1,577,381); 1928, 6012 (£714,491). Other parts and accessories 1926, £1,132,559; 1927, £982,323; 1928, £ 1,043,221.
