AT FULL SPEED.
ELEANOR BOLLING'S RACE AGAINST TIME. (PRESS ASSOCIVTIO* TXLEOBAX.) AUCKLAND. February 8. The latest report received by Mr R G. Brophy, second in command of the Bvrd Expedition, is that the Eleanor Boiling is approaching the New Zealand coast at ■ top speed. "I have been in constant touch with the vessel " said Mr Brophy, "'and have issued instructions that every ounce of speed that can be got out of the ship must be obtained, s-> that she shall reach Dunedin on February 14th, instead of the following day. The Eleanor Boiling must be away again 36 hours after her arrival. During that time the vessel will load 500 tons of gear, including an aeroplane, a motor-car, 5000 gallons of benzine, and 4000 gallons of other oils Every minute counts now,'' he said in conclusion.
Mr Brophy will leave Auckland tonight or to-morrow morning for Wei • lington and Dunedin.
