HIGH COUNCIL MEETING.
GENERAL NOT INFORMED. (ITXITH) S'-RISS ASSOCIATION--BY JllatiC TSt-BCR AMI—COPY3IG b I". < (Received January Sind. 5.5 p.nO LONDON, January 1. Asked why Genera! Brarn.vell Booth is unable to see the High Council delegates and even his sister, Commander Evangeline Booth. Colonel Tucker, a high official in the Salvation Army, replied that the doctor would not allow the General to be told about the summoning ot the High Council, and therefore it was impossible for him to see any delegates. If he did, he would naturally want to know why they were there and even if his sister tried to hide the real reason for her presence, the General was bo mentally alert that he 'j-ould discover the truth in a few minutes' conversation.
"The General will be told about the meeting when it has ended, if his health permits, and will also be informed of its decision," he stated.— Australian Press Association.
