STRAND THEATRE.
"Tony Runs Wiid," starring Tom Mir, is the chief feature presented this week. The Apache trail runs through the most picturesque of Arizona's mountains. Aiong it are famous copper and gold mining properties, cattle ranches that are nationally known to stockmen, end the r.liff dwellings, homes of a race long vanished from the earth. Along the trail roam herds of wild horses and great herds of cattle. This is the setting in which Tom Mix and Tony are placed. "Tony", pictured as the leader of a band of wild horses, leads his followers in dashes along paved road 3, through almost impassable canyons, up mountain sides, _ and down shale slides that se%m to be certain to end in death. Along these roads on Pronto, a horse almost equally famous as Tony, rides Tom Mix to rescue beautiful Jacqueline Logan, the heroine, from 3 band of desperadoes. The pursuit takes Mrs to the lair of the gang. Into it he plunges, and after a desperate fight with the bandits he escapes with the heroine. "On Ze Boulevard," starring Renee Adoree and Lew Cody, a comedy, a scenic, and a Topical complete the offering.
