(v&an oua ows coaazspossi xt.) LONDON, November 22. Further details of the New Zealand Shipping Company's new motor passenger and cargo liners are given in the current number of the "Blue Peter." It will be recalled that the first of these, the Rangitiki, was launched from the yard of Messrs John Brown and Co., Clydebank, on Angust 29th, and is expected to be completed early in [ the New Year, preparatory to her maiden i departure from Southampton to Wellington on February 15th next. She, like her Bister ships, will have berthing for 100 passengers in the first class, and SO passengers in the second class, the dining saloon admitting of all saloon passengers taking meals at one sitting. These vessels, following the latest development, will have in the first-class a large proportion (42, to be exact) of single-berth cabins, -while 20 of the single or dmible-beri h cabins will have private bathrooms en suite. There are, besides, two special suites, consisting of one large double bedroom and a sitting-room convertible into a single bedroom, each room .having its own bathroom with sanitary and lavatory fittings. All first and second-class bathrooms have a cold fresh-water shower. Each firht and second-class cabin has a bedstead, or bedsteads, with Vi-spring mattresses, . «no or more wardrobes, a dressing table, a che-st of drawers, a fnll-length mirror, and a lavatory basin with hot and cold water laid on. The public rooms will consist in the first class of ft dining saloon, a lounge, a smok-ing-room, drawing-room, children's room, and a veranda cafe opening on to the dancing deck. The lounge, which has a parquet floor, will be available for dancing in the cool weather. In the second-class, besides the dining-room, there is a lounze. a smok-ing-room, and a.veranda cafe. Both classes are provided with ample rnnro. Punkahlouvr® mechanical ventilation is fitted throughout the interior. In the first class a passenger lift serves all decks.
