The inventory of the estate of the late Mr Hodge £oats, of Woodside, Paisley, and Bothwell-street, Glasgow, bead of the firm of Messrs J. and p. Coats, Ltd,, the thread manufacturers, who died on August 21st, was lodged with tho sheriff-clerk at Paisley yesterday. Tho amount of the estate is £1,305,053 5s 4d, on which the duty payable amounts to £.409,425 t>s <d. Clark, whose business was joined' to that of the Coats firm, were proved at £1,047,281 and £1,522,902 respectively.
