Ernest Bagley, fourth engineer qn the steamer Marella, a resident of St, Leonards, Dun e dm, New Zealand, and Miss Doris Davidson, aged 2Q, of St: Kilda, were killed in a motor smash at Elsternwlftk to-day. , Rupert Ruwolt, aged 29, was eeverely injured. The car. with Bagley driving, was travelling at a high speed and crashed into the rear of a market gardener's woggpn, /* The force of the impact turned a two ton load of onions over the horse, which was killed.—Australian Press Association.
