At St Pancras Church, London, there is a relie of that Famous F'livlop Oak in Hainault Forest, the miglitv tree that was 45ft. in girth and threw its shade oyer 300 square feet. I'he tree was famous in the days of Queen Anne, who paid a special visit to the forest to see it. The tree was destroyed an a storm in 1820, after being badly damaged by fire in 1805.
