HOSPITAL BOARD.
MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the North Canterbury Hospital Board was held yesterday morning, and was attended by Messrs H. J. Otley (chairman), H. T. Armstrong, M.P., J. E. Archer, Clyde Carr, M.P. Jan. Boyd, H. JR. Davison, L. B. Evanß, H. H. Holland, F. Horrell, D. McMillan, P. G. Norton, P. Rowell, A. T. Smith, W. P. Spencer, W. J. Walter, Dr. H. T. D. Acland, Mrs T. Green, Mrs A. E. Herbert, and Mrs E. R. McCombs. Mrs McCombs moved that the doctor in charge of the children's ward should supply a dally written report so that full information could be supplied to parents, The motion provokod some discussion, and finally an amendment by Mr H. H. Holland that the matter be referred to the Hospital Committee was carried. The Medical Superintendent reported that there were 368 patients remaining from the previous Month. During the month 585 patients were admitted, 875 were discharged, and 33 died. There were 345 patients in Hospital on November Ist. On the motion of Mr Clyde Carr it was decided that in view'of the conflicting reports of the doctors concerned as to the climatic and general health condition! at the site of th» Goronatloa Hospital, the
