FUNERAL OF LIEUT.-COLONEL ANDREWS.
[THE PBESS Special Service.] AUCKLAND, November 28. The remains of the late Lieut.-001. O. E. Andrews, 0.8. E., N.Z.S.C., were laid to rest in a simple soldiers' plot in the Waikumete Cemetery. Full military honours were accorded. The 13th Coast Battery of the New Zealand Territorial Artillery formed the escort and were followed in funeral procession by a firing party from the Royal New Zealand Artillery. Warrant Officers from the New Zealand Permanent Staff carried the casket, the pall-bearers being Major W. O. Finnis, Major H. C. Glendining, Major R. Miles, Captain G. H. Clifton, Captain J. G. C. Wales, and Captain G. Dittmer. Major-General R. Young, General Officer commanding the Military Forces, was present
